Bin zwiegespalten was das neue Album angeht. Instrumental gefällt es mir wieder einen Tick besser als Once, vor allem weil die Gitarrenparts mal wieder etwas umfangreicher ausfallen, aber die Songs wirken meiner Meinung nach irgendwie trotzdem zu einseitig.
Die neue Sängerin macht ihren Job zwar technisch okay und klingt auch nicht schlecht, aber ihr fehlt irgendwie das emotionale in der Stimme, das mich bei den alten Songs berührt hat.
Der einzige Song, wo ihre Stimme mich überzeugt ist "Meadows of Heaven", da er wie für sie gemacht scheint. Eine der älteren Nummern interpretiert sie ähnlich, wenn man nach den ersten Liveaufnahmen gehen kann, das kommt teilweise ganz gut und teilweise nur schrecklich.
Mal sehen, eventuell bilde ich mir nächstes Jahr mal live eine Meinung, aber wahrscheinlich werde ich die Konzerttickets zu teuer finden^^.
