Exactly, both Ubi and Microids wanted this to happen. As for as more adventure games being made, that won't really happen.
Microids basically doesn't exist anymore. We've become part of Ubisoft. All the unannounced projects we had here at Microids, have been put on a definite stop (other than Still Life). We are going to be making Ubi's games, Ubi won't be making our games, the deal stated that anything Microids was working it, stays property of Microids.
Microids still exists, but it has no more employees or offices They all belong to Ubisoft now, but if Microids decides to bring those titles to MC2-France (Which is part of Microids), then maybe they will be released.
