ich spiele gerade ein klassisches Adventure aus den 90ern und stehe vor einem Rätsel, bei dem ich verschiedene Gegenstände kombinieren muss, um einen geheimen Durchgang zu öffnen. Hat jemand eine Strategie oder Tipps, wie man solche Inventar-Rätsel effizient löst, ohne ständig alles auszuprobieren?

A lot of classic adventure games from the 90s reward structured experimentation rather than brute force guessing. One efficient strategy is to reduce the number of combinations by testing items in isolation first—click every item on the environment separately before combining anything. This often reveals that only one or two objects are actually relevant to the puzzle.

Another useful trick is “reverse thinking”: instead of asking what can I do with these items?, ask what would realistically open a secret passage in this setting? Games of that era tend to follow simple real-world logic (pressure plates, hidden switches, keys, light sources, etc.).
