hallo zusammen,

also nachdem ich nun den 3. teil gespielt hatte, dachte ich so....ach silvi, spiel doch die ersten beiden auch gleich nochmal...

baphomet 1 ging auch ohne schwierigkeiten, aber 2 ist nur auf win95 spielbar (und nt) und dat hab ick nich ich hab immernoch 98SE...

jetzt las ich was von kompalibitätsmodus auf win95 stellen...kann mir das bitte jemand für blonde erklären?

Heidihi,

Wenn du auf das Desktop-Icon (Verknüpfung)einen Rechtsklick machst und auf "Eigenschaften" gehst, poppt ne Box auf.

Dort findest in der Box oben den Reiter "Kompatibilität".

Hier setzt du unter "Programm im Kombatibilitätsmodus ausführen für " Windows 95 an.


Unter Win98 ist der Punkt meines Wissens aber nicht verfügbar. (Is scho lang her...)
Das Spiel sollte unter Win98 problemlos laufen. (Habe ich damals jedenfalls unter Win98 gezockt....)

bei mir kommt aber immer die meldung

er findet keine cluster in e oder f

cluster sind auf der cd - e und f sind meine laufwerke wobei f das cd-rom ist....

und nein, keine möglichkeit die kompalibität umzustellen unter win98SE

hat sonst noch jemand eine idee????

Das heisst die CD ist kaputt.
Cluster sind physikalische
Einheiten auf Festplatten
(eigendlich nur auf Festplatten
soweit ich das weiss).

1. total billige Möglichkeit:
Schau mal nach ob du die CD
reinigen kannst.
(Mit einem weichen Tuch langsam
immer von innen nach außen wischen
nicht feste drücken!)

2. Sehr aufwändige Möglichkeit:
Wenn das nicht funzt dann könntest
du auch die CD mal Imagen
(CloneCD) solange du die Originale
CD hast, ist das glaub ich zu wissen
legal.
Dann lädst du dir die Daemon-Tools runter:
<url>http://www.daemon-tools.cc/portal/index.php</url>
damit kannst du deinem PC ein weiteres
CD-Romlaufwerk vorgaukeln, in das du
mit dem Programm Daemon die gerade erstellte
Image-Datei reinladen kannst.

Q1: There appears to be nothing at all on the CD1 and I can't run the installation.

What causes this, is unknown. I believe it might be somthing to do with the OS's CD device drivers which just can't read the CD. Sometimes after installing some third party software (like Nero) the problem has dissapeared. Installing new drivers for your device can help as well, but they are rarely manufactured for Windows.

Only solution known to have worked (many thanks Jhonny Walker for this):
1: Download something to create *.iso files with (IsoBuster, WinISO - mostly shareware, but you can do everything with the free trial version and uninstall the application later).

(You could now check maybe Windows can read CD1 and launch the setup without you having to proceed with next steps.)

2: Create an iso file of CD1 somewhere on your hard-drive (this requires about 700MB of HDD space). If you get some errors, just ignore them.

Now you have two choices:
3a: You could burn the iso file to a CD-R and run the game from that CD - should work.
3b: If you don't want to waste CD-R's, or haven't got a writer, download Daemon Tools and install the application. Now there is a red lightning image in the right bottom corner of the screen. Right click it, choose Device 1 and Mount image - search out the iso file you created earlier and mount that. Daemon Tools creates a virtual CD device and uses CD image (ISO, BIN, NRG) files as CDs in it. Now install the game from there.

ooooooooh neeeeeiiiiiiin....mein gott...

also auf der cd ist nur ein kleiner kratzer - das die kaputt sein soll *wein* - natürlich ist es ein original ich mache von adventures keine raubkopien, sonst bekommen wir ja überhaupt keine spiele mehr von dem genre...

das mit dem daemon-tool ist mir völlig unbekannt *seufz*

soll ich jetzt beide cd's kopieren? dann den tool? und der ist dann in englisch und ich begreife gar nix...ach menno

kann ich nicht alles auf meine festplatte kopieren und dann von dort aus spielen? ne - dann könnten ja alle raubkopien machen...

also erstmal vielen dank für eure hilfe - das die kaputt wäre, da wäre ich ja nie drauf gekommen...clusters nie gehört

Das hat nix mit dem Zustand der CD zu tun. Wenn die Meldung mit den Clusters kommt, dann liegt das daran, dass du mehrere CD-Laufwerke hast (womöglich noch ein virtuelles von einem Brennprogramm). Entweder probierst du mal die CD in deinem Brenn-Laufwerk aus, oder machst, falls du ein virtuelles Laufwerk haben solltest, ein Image der CDs und mountest sie dann.

ich konnte baphomet 2 von meinem brenner installieren und nun auf dem cd-rom-laufwerk spielen *mbg*

warum das so geht weiss ich nicht aber es geht.
