What’s the balance of lonely exploration versus character interaction in Syberia II?
It’s tough to put an exact figure on this, but Syberia II is still an adventure game, so a good portion of it has to do with lonely exploration and finding clues. We did want to add some character interaction in Syberia II to provide a more lifelike environment; to that end, we integrated more characters into the environments, and Kate will have to interact with some of them. We also made sure the characters are completely integrated into the storyline and implicated in its development. We didn’t want to add characters for the sake of adding characters. |
